Herbal Medicine: Open Access

Introduction

Herbal Medicine: Open Access (ISSN: 2472-0151) is a scientific journal that includes a wide range of fields in its discipline about the usage of herbs for medicinal uses during the modern times by identifying the healing ingredients in plants that play a crucial role. I am pleased to announce that, all issues of volume 5 were published online well within the time during the year of 2019.

Herbal Medicine follows a progressive editorial policy that encourages researchers to submit the original research, reviews and editorial observations as articles, well supported by tables and graphic representation.

Scope of the Journal

Scope of the Journal includes Botany, Medicinal Plant Research, Pharmacognosy, Phytochemistry, Phototherapy, botanical medicines, Ayurveda and Natural chemistry, Agriculture Science, Unani Medicine.

Herbal Medicine is an open access journal and the main aim of this journal to provide a platform for scientists, researchers in Herbal medicine and Ayurveda fields all over the world to present their new ideas, discuss new strategies, and promote developments in all areas of Herbal Medicine. The Journal is intended to be comprehensive, and its main aim is to publish all the papers related to Herbal Medicine and Ayurveda.

Journal Indexing

The Journals aims to aim of motivating students and personnel in Botany and Phytochemistry Research and Development. All published articles of this journal are included in the indexing and abstracting coverage of Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) Index Copernicus, Google Scholar, Journal TOCs, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Directory of Research Journal Indexing (DRJI), World Cat, Secret Search Engine Labs.

Year of 2019

During the calendar year 2019, Herbal Medicine: Open Access Journal received a total of 33 papers, out of which few articles were rejected in the preliminary screening due to plagiarism or being out of the format and peer review process. In Volume 5, a total of 23 articles were published from authors all around the world. We have also released Press releases on the specific topic related to the journal scope and on our Editorial Board Members.

Social Media

Social media is a great, way to reach many scientific personalities. Social media allows people to freely interact with others and offers multiple ways to market our journal. We strive to improve readers for the published article in various social media platforms like Twitter, Linked in by postings, etc. Association with iMed group has increased Readership Metrics (By Google Analytics) of Herbal Medicine: Open Access Journal.

Conclusion

I take this opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of Editorial Board Members during the final editing of articles published and the support rendered by them in bringing out issues of Herbal Medicine: Open Access in time. I would also like to express my gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, the publisher, the advisory and the editorial board of Herbal Medicine: Open Access, the office bearers for their support in bringing out yet another volume of MAP and look forward to their unrelenting support to bring out the Volume 6 of MAP in scheduled time.
